Well, it’s time for a new school year and I am looking forward to meeting all of my new students and of course, their parents, too!

School starts Tuesday, September 8 with a Back to School Pep Rally!  Please make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast because we will have a full day.

If possible, could you please purchase and read the book “The Kissing Hand” by Audrey Penn to your child the night before the first day of school?

If your child is buying lunch they will need to pay for it beginning the first day of school.

Be sure to check your child’s book bag every evening for important papers that will be sent home during the first few days of school and complete those that need to be returned.  The following forms need to be returned by Friday, September 11th:

ü  Emergency Information Form

ü  Lunch Application

ü  Walking Field Trip Permission Form

ü  Photography/Video Permission Form

ü  Student Code of Conduct Form (found in the back of the Code of Conduct)

If your child has any allergies, please inform us.

I am looking forward to seeing you at the Back to School Pep Rally.  It will be held on the playground at 8:10 a.m.  Get there early enough in order to park, legally.

The supplies needed are:

ü  book bag

ü  homework folder

ü  pencil bag/supply box

ü  2 pencils per day

ü  sharpener

ü  crayons (24 count)

ü  glue stick

ü  scissors

ü  dry board eraser

ü  box of tissues

ü  2 bottles of hand sanitizer
